Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender steak and shrimp with noodles and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces dried egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine steak, shrimp, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  4. Add steak and shrimp to the skillet and stir-fry until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add onion, bell peppers, and broccoli to the skillet and stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  7. In a small bowl, combine chicken broth, oyster sauce, and sugar.
  8. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the vegetables. Bring to a simmer.
  9. Return the cooked steak and shrimp to the skillet. Add the cooked noodles.
  10. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  11. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use different vegetables in this stir-fry, such as carrots, snow peas, or mushrooms.
  • Adjust the amount of soy sauce and sugar to your taste.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
