Delicious rolls filled with strawberry and cheesecake.
Ingredients

- 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup coarse sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface. Press seams together to form a rectangle.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Spoon strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Starting from a long side, tightly roll up the dough.
- Cut the roll into 8 equal slices.
- Place slices cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush tops of rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use frozen strawberries if fresh are not available. Thaw and drain them before using.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the cream cheese mixture.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
