A crunchy salad featuring crispy fried dumplings and a simple dressing.
Ingredients

- 12 frozen potstickers or gyoza
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1 large carrot, shredded
- 1/2 English cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
Instructions
- Cook the dumplings according to package directions until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and grated ginger to make the dressing.
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, shredded carrot, and sliced cucumber.
- Add the cooked crispy dumplings and chopped scallions to the salad mixture.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crunch, you can lightly toast some sesame seeds and sprinkle them over the finished salad.
- If you prefer, pan-fry the dumplings instead of deep-frying or air-frying for a slightly different texture.
